Our Mentorship Program Kickoff for 2016 is the event for club Members to attend.




Come meet a roster of volunteers who are offering their time and advice to alumni of any age seeking to learn and grow with someone who has "been there." 


Structured introductions and small round-table setting will allow you opportunities to hopefully make that "special connection."

Brian Gorman ('71, A&S)

President, Change Mentor


Brian has spent his entire career helping organizations and individuals achieve the promise of the changes they are undertaking.  He has worked with leaders of Fortune 100 companies, small business and nonprofits, and individuals undergoing significant transitions in their lives and coaching many in public speaking.  Brian’s website is www.changementor.net.  He also sits on the Mentoring Subcommittee of the Point Foundation.


Kevin S. Ryan ('85, Newhouse)

Principal, KSRyan Group


Kevin is a social marketing consultant who has helped thousands of New Yorkers to master LinkedIn. He is principal of KSRyan Group (ksryangroup.com), a social marketing consultancy in New York, and has run a popular social media workshop series at Labor Department offices on Long Island for five years. Before starting his business, Kevin was Vice President of Social Media at Barnes & Noble, and an editor at New York Newsday and The New York Times. PLEASE NOTE: This event is at Fisher Center (136 Madison Avenue). The entrance to Fisher Center is 19 East 31st Street. There is no full-time receptionist or security guard. You must see the WhitmanNYC representative in the lobby to access the elevators. PLEASE BE PROMPT. Doors will close at 6:45PM.
